This was the first purchase, along with two other dragons, of plushies, that I’ve bought from Dragon’s Garden.
Firstly, I have to thank Nina for her commitment and exceptional kindness, in getting my baby dragons to me. The postal charges are making sellers and buyers heads ache but Nina patiently helped me to navigate it all.
My expectations for the dragons were extremely high, knowing how amazing Nina is. I knew they’d be special and would be packaged beautifully.
The box arrived and I opened it feeling excited, like a kid at Christmas and then the unexpected happened.
Nina surprised me by actually outdoing my expectations. A beautiful lilac tissue paper held the adoption documents for the dragons, with their little wax seals, along with a little paper bag with a badge and couple of other gifts, and three pale blue sacks, two tied with ribbon and one a drawstring bag.
They reminded me of Santa sacks, each a present to be opened and as I opened each one, two big eyes could be seen peeping up at me.
The dragon I’m reviewing in particular, was made from a gorgeous soft royal blue fabric, with a peachy pink belly. The embroidery was intricate, each colour complimenting the others and perfect, apart from the slight imperfection of one tooth that Nina mentioned in the description. (This particular imperfection was barely noticeable-one tooth being slightly smaller than the other and to be honest it was one of the main reasons I chose him, as it added to his charm, character and unique personality).
He was filled with the perfect amount of weighted beans, that made him a little squishy and extra cuddly. Round his neck, was a neatly tied bow, of pretty ribbon, a final touch, to finish the exceptional presentation.
Nina outdid herself and I couldn’t help thinking that as well buying these for myself, they’d also make lovely gifts for others, each made and wrapped with care and love.
I can’t recommend the dragons I bought enough and this little chap in particular, has stolen my heart. I think his tiny imperfection, (slightly smaller tooth), perfectly illustrates how our differences, are what makes us special and this beautiful little dragon is no exception.
